外国学生加工汉字形声字的特点

摘要: 以52名在北京学习汉语的外国学生为被试,该研究探讨了外国学生加工汉字形声字的特点。实验材料取自《对外汉语教学汉字水平大纲》中的40个形声字,这40 个形声字均为双部件、左右结构、声旁独立成字。研究结果表明:外国学生在识别形声字时,也存在着频率效应和规则性效应,而且二者也有交互作用;与中国小学生相比,外国学生更快地了解了形声字声旁表音的作用及局限性;外国学生加工形声字时双字词语境效应不明显的原因可能来自于学生自身特点、母语的影响和教学的影响。

Abstract: Using 52 foreign students as subjects, we studied how foreign students processed Chinese phonogram characters. The materials used were 40 phonogram characters. These characters were selected from the book of “The General Outline of Chinese Vocabulary and Characters for Chinese Level Test”. They were all left-right structure characters with two radicals. The results were: Foreign students also showed frequency effect and regularity effect, these two effects had mutual function too. Foreign students could realize the function of phonogram of phonogram characters quicker than Chinese elementary students. With the increase of the characters' quantity, they also realized the limited function of phonogram. Context effect of foreign students processing phonogram characters was not obvious, and it showed that perhaps foreign students stored characters in the style of words in their mental lexicon. We thought that the reason was the effects of their native languages and the teaching methods for Chinese.
