摘要： 首先自创“调制计算机显示法”制作视觉质量不佳的劣化汉字，后经识别实验的视觉检验，已论证此法的简便性和有效性。运用此法进行了两项劣化不同部位的识别实验，分别获得“劣化字的整合识别成绩与其劣化部位无关”的结果，并就此探讨了劣化条件下汉字的加工方式的整体性。

Abstract: A new method for degrading Chinese characters was generated on the computer. The primary test showed that the method was effective in studying Chinese character processing. Two experiments were conducted for investigating how different degraded locations of a Chinese character influenced the processing. The results indicated that the integration Process of degraded Chinese characters did not depend on the degraded locations. Holishc and local processing problem was discussed according to the results.
