中国人人格的词汇研究

A PSYCHO-LEXICAL STUDY ON CHINESE PERSONALITY FROM NATURAL LANGUAGE

摘要： 在回顾了西方心理学家以及中国学者从字词中研究人格维度的尝试之后，从《现代汉语词典》中挑出了用以描述人类行为差异的术语共６１５６个，其中，描述稳定人物特点的术语有１２７４个，描述评价特点、表情和情绪状态、以及躯体动作和活动的术语分别有１２３９个、６３４个以及２０７９个。同时，还根据３５２名大学生对不同目标人物的描述得到１６３８个术语，落入上述四类的术语个数分别为２６８个，１２３９个，６１个和７０个。文中还讨论了词语研究的初步结果及其广泛的应用前景。

Abstract: Following the efforts of both Chinese and Western Psychologists on in vestigating personality dimensions from natural languages,the present study selected 6156 Chinese words applied to describe human behavior differences from Chinese Modern Dictionary(1988).The words were classified into four categories:the stable trait description(1,274),the evaluation description(1, 239),the temporary state,emotion and feeling description(634),and action description(2,709).300 of them were deleted for their ambiguity. Meanwhile,1,638 personality descriptions were obtained from the description of 10 target figures made by 352 college students.They were also assigned to the previous categories respectively.Some preliminary results of psycholexical research were presented and the wide applications of the present list were also discussed.
