Abstract: The information is a kind of weapon and attacks human mental that is its purpose in psychological warfare. In order to research the defence of psychological warfare better, we need to understand what is characteristics of information trauma. The paper describes the concept of information trauma, summarizes the characteristics of information trauma, analyses the effect factors on information trauma, and put forward the orientation in the future by a investigating in the period of SARS prevalence
