Abstract: his article presented a concise summary of recent psychological theories in the fields of pathology , assessment and therapy of suicide. On such bases it introduced several theories within these aspects respectively in detail :Escape from self theory ,Ego-suicide theory ;SSF assessment, Four stage process model assessment; SATIR therapy model, Jungian art therapy ,etc.. Finally a brief evaluation and prospect were provided
