Abstract: With the development of globalization, people may develop a heightened awareness and concern for the entire human collective. Identification with all humanity involves recognizing all humans as part of one’s in-group and fostering care for every member of the global human family. This identification with all humanity influences individuals' pro-social psychology and behavior across diverse domains, including intergroup interactions, environmental sustainability, and public health crises responses. It operates through factors such as relevance, responsibility, obligation, and emotional elements like sympathy and empathy. Future research should delve into additional mechanisms related to identification with all humanity, investigating its unique role in the era of artificial intelligence and considering cultural variations within the context of globalization.
Key words: identification with all humanity, pro-social behavior, global challenges
