Figure 1. Illustration of the procedure and stimuli of Experiment 1. A 1000 ms “+” fixation point is first displayed in the center of the screen. Then the standard stimulus or deviation stimulus is presented randomly which will not appear until participants press the “F” key for the standard stimulus or the “J” key for the deviation stimulus in 1200 ms. And then the black screen of 1000 ms is presented. Participants need to carefully watch the stimulus and press the key response as quickly and accurately as possible. After the end of each block, present the correct rate and feedback of reaction time, rest for 5 min and proceed to the next block.
