摘要: <正> 思惟和语言的关系,长期以来是一个争论的问题。很多心理学家、语言学家、心理语言学家曾致力于这一问题的探讨,得出的结论常迥然不同。苏联心理学家把思惟与内部语言联系起来,视思惟、语言为同一过程。持语言相对论的Whorf(1956)认为思惟依赖于语言。瑞士心理学家Piaget(Piaget和Inhelder,1969)持语言发展依赖于认识活动

Abstract: The aim was to determine whether logical concepts acquired in onelanguage could be transferred to another language.Following Keats &Keats,the Australian psychologists'earlier studies with bilingual children inAustralia and Malaysia,a group of four-to seven-year-old children bilingualin Chinese (the language of the Hun nationality) and the language of theUygur nationality and a group of five-year-old children bilingual in Shanghaidialect and Beijing dialect were pretested in both languages and dialectsrespectively.They were then trained in one language or dialect on the conserva-tion of weight,posttested in their other language or dialect,and again onemonth later in both languages or dialects.Results showed that the conceptacquired in one of their language or dialect was immediately available in theother,thus confirmed Keats & Keats'previous findings that language playeda minor part in the acquisition of cognitive concepts in children of this agegroup,except it seemed that these children would do slightly better on thesetasks if trained in their native language.
