Family Factors On Juvenile Delinquency

Abstract: With the development of the theories (social control theory, attachment theory, social learning theory and problem behaviour theory), the studies of family factors on juvenile delinquency have experienced a process in which they first focused on the structural factors, and gradually expanded into the functional factors and family members’ behavior. Current researches also explored deeply into the moderate effects such as adolescents’ cognitive process between family factors and juvenile delinquency, and the interactive effects on juvenile delinquency between personality, community or biology and family factors. Finally, the latest trend and the shortcoming in this research field were present
