Abstract: Overpopulation and overconsumption lead to the crisis of environment which threaten the sustainable development of humankind. Environmental psychology is a new discipline which has developed in the West since about 1970. Now environmental psychologist should keep in close contact with policy-maker and officer in order to help form effective environmental policy. At the same time, environmental psychologists should cooperate in these directions: human environmental perceptions, stress and life quality, sustainable development, life mode and organizational culture.
