REVERSAL PRIMING EFFECT──A SELECTIVE ATTENTION APPROACH

Abstract

Abstract: Selective attention was directly manipulated with a peripheral precue or without the cue, under these two different conditions,the reversal priming was observed. Negative priming existed at nonprecue condition,but positive priming occurred at peripheral precue condition. Tipper's model(1985)was modified for accommodation of the present data. The function of selective attention was discussed based on the Positive priming.
