Abstract: This study was in the a m of exploring the pre-elicited emotional experiences and their impacts demonstrated in the post-generated emotion- al processes. The results showed that (1 ) the post-generated emotion was impelled when it was similar with the pre-elicited experience in nature, and it could be inhibited by the pre-experience when they different; (2) there was a significant correlation between the RT of post-emotion elici- ted and its duration DE.
