Abstract: Mr. J. Tan publisbed an article in Acta Psychologica Sinica, 18 (3).p.333-341, 1986, and considered that there were inadequacies in the work ofthe National Mental Tests Cooperation Group, Headed by Gong Yao-xian,in the revision of some mental tests, such as the Wechsler Adult Intelli-gence Scale. In this paper, the authors discuss problems related tothe representation of the norm samples, the defining of the norm group,the equivalence of scaled scores and the misuse of Tellegen formula.
