Abstract: This paper summaries the experiences obtained in the speedy-synthetic treatment of the chronic diseases of neurasthenia, peptic ulcer and hypertension in the last two years by the division of medical psychology, Institute of Psychology, Academia Sinica. The author points out that under the leading influence of political work to apply the knowledge of medical psychology to mobilize the conscious activity of patients for struggling against the diseases is a new method of psychotherapy, it plays art important role in speedy treatment of the chronic diseases. The author also gives an outline of the theory of psychotherapy.
