Abstract: Treisman and his colleagues found that subjective judgment of duration was affected by repetitive stimulation and consequently result in distortion firstly. In their view, there were two effects in the repetitive stimulation of time estimation. The attention is concentrate on the generating mechanism, theoretical model and the influencing factors of the repetitive stimulation effect. Some problems in the future researches are proposed.
