Abstract: This article presents findings of an experiment which was designed toexplore the characteristics and limitations of conventional indexes andsensitivity indexes (d') in signal detectability theory. It also discusses theadvantages of using fuzzy statistics to compute recognition, level functionsand the interrelationships of several measuring indexes.
