Abstract: Yan Yong-jing translated Joseph Haven's "Mental Philosophy: Includingthe Intellect Sensibilities and Will" (1857). This was one of the firsttranslations introducing Western psychology to China. This translation waspublished in 1889, 15th year of Guangxu in the Qing Dynasty.
