Abstract: Wundt's infleunces on Chinese psychology as an independent disciplinefrom beginning to the present are reviewed briefly in this paper. Itindicates that although there was probably only one Chinese scholar, TsaiYuan-pai, who ever attended Wundt's lectures at Leipzig in 1908-1911, theeffect of Wundt's psychological system as well as his laboratory work andhis perspective towards scientific psychology on the psychological work inChina are observable. The influence of some naive materialistic view-pointsand dialectic factors in Wundt's psychology are also discussed.
