The cur-rent study reveals that the content of implicit theory of the Chinese peo-ple comprises of four factors, namely, 'Personal Morality', 'Goal Effe-ctiveness', 'Interpersonal Competence' and 'Versatility'.This result is qu-ite different from the result of eight factors in the U. S. A.. This maybe due to the difference between Chinese and American cultures. The resultof the current study is very similar to that of CPM pattern of leaderbehavior evaluation, and thus proves that CPM Pattern is a Chinesepattern that is different from Western cultures.
