In the field of applied research, OSLC focuses on the intervention on children both in the classroom and at home. In the field of basic research, OSLC studies the chronic influence of family, peer and society on children’s behavioral development. OSLC deals widely with juvenile experience, neurobiology of stress and etiology. Meanwhile, OSLC studies foster care, children abuse and antisocial behavior in children of incarcerated parents under the context of family, school, welfare system and juristic system. The practice of OSLC has referential significance to the related field in China
