Profile-based individual difference assessment in everyday multi-situations

摘要: 全面、准确的个体差异测量对于个人和社会的优化发展具有重要意义。随着心理测量理论与方法的进展,个体差异的情境依赖性正在得到日益广泛的重视。越来越多研究者开始重视在丰富多样的日常情境中开展个体差异的量化描述,通过多情境个体表现的测量以实现相比传统实验室测量更加全面充分的个体差异测量。本文立足日常情境个体差异研究的发展趋势与前沿动态,综述基于主观报告、行为表现、生理反应的日常多情境个体差异研究进展,重点论述面向日常多情境高维数据的个体中心档案视角分析思想和方法。日常多情境测量与档案视角分析方法的结合,有望促进个体差异机制的深入理解,推动个体差异理论的深化与发展。

Abstract: Comprehensive and accurate measurement of individual differences is important for the optimal development of individuals and societies. With the advancement of psychometric theories and methods, the context-dependence of individual differences is getting increasing attention. More and more researchers have begun to emphasize the quantitative description of individual differences in rich and diverse daily situations and to achieve a more comprehensive and adequate measurement of individual differences than the traditional laboratory measurements through individual performance in multiple situations. Based on the trend and frontier of individual differences research in daily situations, this paper reviews the progress of daily multi-situational individual difference measurement based on subjective reports, behavioral performance, and physiological responses. This paper focuses on the person-center perspective analysis for high-dimensional data in daily multi-situations. The combination of daily multi-situational measurement and profile perspective analysis methods is expected to promote an in-depth understanding of individual difference mechanisms and the deepening and development of individual difference theories.
