The Influence of Psychological Contract on Organizational Citizenship Behavior

Abstract: This paper supported the casual relationship between psychological contract and organizational citizenship behavior (OCB) on the basis of a thorough analysis of their logical link from the perspectives of the definition, context and motive of OCB. It then critically reviewed the empirical studies on how psychological contract influences OCB in both direct and indirect ways, and made comments on the problems in current studies in terms of general situation, theoretical perspective and empirical methodology. Finally, it put forward suggestions on future studies
