The Trust Research in Virtual Team

Abstract: Trust is pivotal in virtual teams because it could reduce the high levels of uncertainty and permit a virtual team to focus on its mission.Compared with that in traditional organization, trust in virtual teams is less an interpersonal form than a cognitive and action form. It is created swiftly based on the members’ early interactions and maintained by the continuous interactions. The relationship between trust and team performance is reciprocal.
