Dabrowski’s Theories on Personality Development and Its Inspiration on the Gifted Education

Abstract: Dabrowski attributes the development of personality to the evolvement of the emotion structure and suggests that gifted and creative individuals show “overexcitabilities” which are the momenta for the development of personality. This article purports to introduce Dabrowski’s theories on personality development and discuss its inspiration on the gifted education
