Abstract: The author analyzed Titchenr's existentialism in that Titchener heldpsychophysical parallelism in regard to the relationship of psychologicaland physioloyical phenomena. He stood for idealism with respect to theobject of psychology. The introspective method was used in his psychologicalresearch. But Titchener's work gave some positive results for his introspe-ction was conducted under controlled conditions.
